Bull snakes are big eaters.
They eat rabbits, squirrels, and mice.
They like other small mammals.
They also eat birds.

ENEMIES
Bull snakes lose their homes when humans build on their land or cut the trees down.

WHERE THEY LIVE
Bull snakes like to live in the woods.
They like pine and oak trees a lot.
You may also find bull snakes in fields, grassy places, and in bushes.

  • Bull snakes help humans a lot. They eat lots and lots of mice and rats.
  • Bull snakes are very big and scary looking. But they don’t bite unless someone bothers them.
  • Sometimes bull snakes get hit by cars. They like to lie in the sun in the middle of roads. They move slowly. They don’t have time to get out of the way when cars come.
