FOOD
Grackles eat lots of things.
They eat seeds and fruit.
They eat insects and worms.
They even eat eggs, lizards, frogs and toads!

ENEMIES
Owls and hawks hunt for grackles.
So do weasels and foxes.
A cat can eat a baby grackle.

WHERE THEY LIVE
Grackles can be found in all sorts of places. Look for them in the forest or a field, on a farm, in a park or in your yard.

 

DID YOU KNOW?
  • Some people think grackles are too loud. They are noisy birds and they like to hang out with lots of their friends.
  • Grackles do have a good side. They eat lots and lots of insects.
