Owls and hawks hunt for gray jays.
So do weasels and foxes.
WHERE THEY LIVE
Gray jays live in evergreen forests.
Evergreens are trees that don’t have leaves, like pine trees.
They have needles instead.

Gray jays have a funny way of storing their food.
They make little balls of meat and beef fat. Then they hide the balls in the pine needles.
