DID YOU KNOW?
- A male indigo bunting looks different on a sunny
day and a cloudy day. On a cloudy day, its feathers look shiny, dark, grayish-black. On a
sunny day, its feathers look bright blue when they flash in the sunlight. The
females feathers are light brown.
- Indigo buntings help humans by eating lots of
insects and weed seeds.
