DID YOU KNOW?
- Katydids have wings that look like leaves. They are
difficult to spot in a tree.
- Katydids are in the same family as grasshoppers.
- Grasshoppers like to jump. Katydids would rather
fly.
- Katydids have very long feelers called antennae.
They stick out from the katydid’s head. Sometimes their antennae are longer than
their whole body!
