They live around farms and grasslands and
in parks. |

DID YOU KNOW?
- When you see a hawk gliding in the sky, it may look
like it is just hanging there. It is riding the wind.
- Red-tailed hawks can see things from very far away.
They can spot a mouse from high in the sky. This helps make them such good hunters.
- You can see hawks now in the city too. They sit
high on buildings and hunt for rats and squirrels. They also eat leftover food that people
leave behind.
