DID YOU KNOW?
- Vireos are members of the thrush family. That is
the same family robins belong to.
- Vireos’ beaks are strong. At the tip is a
hook. This helps them catch bigger insects than some other birds can.
- Some vireos are in trouble. Their forest homes are
being used by people, so they have no place to live.
