Wild hogs like to live on land that is close

DID YOU KNOW?
- Wild hogs first came from Europe. They were sent to
North Carolina. A few wild hogs got loose and went to the forest to live. They had many
babies there.
- A wild hog can be as heavy as 300 pounds.
- Wild hogs will eat almost anything. But they always
eat lots of acorns and nuts. There are lots of acorns and nuts where they live.
- Wild hogs sometimes hurt forests. They stomp on
plants when they run. They make a mess when they dig for food with their long snouts or
noses.
