Now people use other poisons to kill bugs. |

WHERE THEY LIVE
Bald eagles live near the water.
They may live near a river or lake or the sea. |

DID YOU KNOW?
- The bald eagle is not really bald. It has brown
feathers on its body. It has white feathers on its head. From far away, it may look bald.
- For a while, there were so few bald eagles that
people thought that soon there would be none left. Now, each year there are more bald
eagles. We still must keep taking care of eagles.
