DID YOU KNOW?
- A kingfisher plays with its food. When it catches a
fish, first it thumps it on a branch. Then it throws it into the air, catches it, and
swallows it. Gulp!
- Kingfishers build strange nests. They dig a tunnel
in the mud with a little hole at the end. That is where they build their nest.
