KIND OF ANIMAL: Amphibian


FOOD
Bullfrogs eat small fish and other
water animals.
They eat bugs.
They eat small turtles and birds.
They even eat other frogs!

ENEMIES
Snakes, weasels, foxes, otters and raccoons all like to eat bullfrogs.

WHERE THEY LIVE
Bullfrogs live near fresh water.
They live near ponds and lakes.
They also like swamps and streams.

 

DID YOU KNOW?
  • Bullfrogs are large frogs. Some of them are larger than your hand.
  • Bullfrogs have webbed feet. They help the bullfrogs swim.
  • Male bullfrogs sing a loud croaking song. Their song tells the female frogs that they are looking for a girlfriend.
