So may foxes and weasels.
Owls and hawks hunt for them too. |

WHERE THEY LIVE
Sparrows like to live around people and
animals.
There are many of them in the city and the suburbs in yards and parks.
You will also find them around farms. |

DID YOU KNOW?
- House sparrows are everywhere. People brought them
to the United States from England. They have made themselves at home.
- Sparrows can be pests to farmers. They eat a lot of
the farmers’ grain.
- Sometimes sparrows follow robins. They pick up bits
of food that the robins drop. They may even try to steal some food from the robins!
