Owls and hawks hunt for starlings.
So do foxes, weasels and cats. |

Starlings live in many places.
They live in cities in yards and gardens. They live on farms.
They live in the forest and in marshes. |

DID YOU KNOW?
- People brought starlings to the United States from
Europe. Starlings have been here for about 100 years.
- Starlings have hurt other birds by taking over
their nesting spots.
- Starlings like to hang out with their friends. They
make a lot of noise. There are so many of them here that some people wish they would go
away!
