DESCRIPTION
  • The golden eagle has a 7 foot wing span.
  • They usually nest on cliffs or high rocks.
  • Humans hunt golden eagles for two main reasons. The first is to protect their farm animals. This is a mistake, as golden eagles do not usually hunt for farm animals. The second reason is that golden eagle feathers are very beautiful and can be sold (even though it’s illegal) for a great deal of money because they are rare.
