DESCRIPTION
  • Pillbugs and sowbugs are also called ”wood lice” and “roly-polys.”
  • They are the only close relatives of shrimps, crabs, lobsters and crayfish to live on land. Because they breathe through gills they must be moist at all times.
  • Pillbugs and sowbugs are covered with plates like armor. Pillbugs roll up into tight balls when threatened. Sowbugs simply run away.
