DESCRIPTION
  • While some birds are endangered, the tufted titmouse is expanding its range and increasing its numbers. It may have been helped by the increasing popularity of bird feeders, which help keep it alive in the winter months.
  • The titmouse is a tame, active bird with a pointy head.
  • A titmouse builds its nest in a hole in a tree. They may pluck hair from live animals to line it.
