DESCRIPTION
  • Blue jays are loudmouths, known for their harsh cry and aggressive behavior. They are related to crows and ravens.
  • You can spot a blue jay instantly because of its bright blue color and pointy head.
  • Blue jays plant oak trees by burying acorns. This has been a big help to the environment.
  • Blue jays raid other birds’ nests. They steal eggs, young birds, and sometimes even the nests.
  • Blue jays like to imitate the calls of other birds.
