When traveling long distances, a flock of Canada
Geese will fly in V formation or in a diagonal line. They migrate from Canada and northern
U.S. to central and southern U.S. in the winter.
In recent years, the numbers of Canada Geese have
grown to the point where they are considered a major nuisance in some suburbs. They hang
out on lawns and in parks, making a great deal of noise with their honking and
leaving piles of droppings.
