DESCRIPTION
  • You will probably hear a great crested flycatcher before you see it. Its colors are not bright and it will sit still for long periods of time high up in the trees. Then suddenly it will break into a noisy flying game of tag with another bird.
  • Great crested flycatchers nest in trees. They are attracted to shiny, crinkly materials and often include old snake skins and pieces of cellophane in their nests.
