DESCRIPTION
  • There are many different kinds of ants. They come in different shades and sizes. They are found just about everywhere.
  • Ants are social insects. They always live in colonies, which are groups that live and work together. Every ant colony has a queen whose job is to lay eggs.
  • Some ants are farmers. They grow food for other ants to eat. Others take care of aphids. They feed them and take sweet juice that the aphids make, which all the ants share.
