DESCRIPTION

  • This snake’s smooth scales give it a sleek, silky look. This large black snake would rather run than fight. True to its name it can escape from danger quickly. However, if it is forced to fight it will put its fangs to good use.
  • Sometimes a black racer will imitate a rattlesnake by shaking its tail among dry leaves.
