DESCRIPTION
Red
squirrels look similar to the more
common gray squirrel, except that they
are a little smaller and have rusty
colored fur. They also have ear
tufts.
Red
squirrels prefer to live by themselves.
They come together only to mate.
Red
squirrels often bury pine cones. In the
winter, they dig up the cones and feed
on the pine seeds.
