DESCRIPTION

  • Even though there are more white-footed mice in eastern forests than any other mammal, it often doesn’t seem that way. That is because they are nocturnal, shy, and have excellent camouflage.
  • When winter comes and temperatures drop, they often move into people’s houses.
  • White-footed mice are good at climbing trees.
