What's New?

Check out the EDUCATION Features!!!

Are you an elementary school teacher or do you know one who is interested in getting their class more involved?
If so, click on the new EDUCATION resource
available from this site.
Choose the EDUCATION option from any page and find lots of information on the animals that Jacques and George see along the Appalachian Trail. There are lesson plans, online learning activities and other printable games which can be downloaded to test your knowledge. This educational resource contains information written for 3 reading levels so that all elementary students can enjoy discovering the wildlife on the Trail.

The site is free to use and will be updated with new
Tales from the Trail through the end of February 2000.

You don't have to be a school teacher to use this site. Adults may enjoy browsing through the database with or without your children or kids may just want to
explore on their own.

The Appalachian Trail Dance & Song video is still available for a donation of $ 29.95. You can make your donation online, print out an order form or call toll free,
1-877-NDI4ALL for instructions on placing phone orders. Makes a great gift and shows you care about the future of children!
